Who is Good Owl Games?
Antoinette Mason is an accidental board game reviewer who loves dry euro games and long walks on the beach. Well, it didn’t grab me on the first play. But I am already a fan of Flash Point Fire Rescue, which has a similar basis of “go into a place on fire and get things out”, though without the enemies – that has random fire spreading, but you know in advance what the map looks like and where the first targets are, so there’s a bit more of a puzzle-solving aspect to it.
Always lovely to hear from you Roger! I don’t think this game will suit everyone, you need to have a particular approach to get the most out of it I think. Ideas wise the game is sharp but I can see why it mightn’t be the most compelling. It’s funny, I didn’t think I’d enjoyed it as much as I did till I sat down to review it!
